Taking care of a new born confidently

Navigating parenthood in a new country comes with extra layers of uncertainty — different systems, different healthcare protocols, and often, no nearby family support. That’s why having essential first aid knowledge is not just useful, it’s empowering.

Whether you’re an expecting parent or already caring for a little one, this workshop gives you the confidence to respond calmly and effectively in critical moments. For expat families in particular, it’s an invaluable step toward feeling safer, more prepared, and more at home.

Do I need any prior medical knowledge to attend?
Not at all. This workshop is designed specifically for parents and caregivers without any medical background. The goal is to make first aid accessible, clear, and easy to remember—even in high-stress situations. You’ll leave with practical skills you can use immediately, no matter your level of experience.
Absolutely. In fact, many expecting parents choose to attend before the baby arrives so they can feel calm and confident from day one. The information is especially helpful for preparing your home and mindset for emergency scenarios that can arise in the early weeks.
Yes, and we highly recommend it. Having both parents (or a caregiver and grandparent, for example) attend together helps ensure that everyone feels equipped and aligned in how to respond during emergencies. It’s also a great bonding experience before baby arrives or in the early months of parenting.
The main workshop is conducted in English to accommodate our international community. However, our team also offers assistance in German, Spanish, and French during the session. If you feel more comfortable asking questions or clarifying information in one of these languages, we’re happy to support you.
The upcoming dates will be announced soon. We’re working closely with our medical team and venue partners to finalize the next session. You can subscribe to our newsletter or follow us on Instagram to be the first to know when registration opens.
