On Saturday, June 26th, we had the absolute pleasure of hosting another edition of our Navigating the German System and we are still buzzing from the energy and incredible feedback we received!
This event is designed for internationals living in Germany who are trying to make sense of complex systems like healthcare, maternity care, insurance and social services. Whether someone is planning a family, has just arrived in the country, or simply wants clarity and guidance, our mission is simple: make the system feel less overwhelming and a lot more human.
What happened at the event
The room was filled with curiosity, connection, and open conversations. Participants came ready with real questions, and left with real answers, practical guidance, and the sense that they’re not alone.
What we covered:
- How the German healthcare system actually works
- What to expect when navigating pregnancy, birth, and postpartum in Germany
- How to advocate for yourself when you don’t know the rules (or the language!)
- And above all, how to feel empowered in a system that often feels rigid or confusing
What people said:
The feedback was overwhelmingly positive. Here are just a few things we heard:
“I finally feel like I have a roadmap.”
“It was so reassuring to hear others have the same questions.”
“This was the first time I got actual, useful guidance instead of just vague information.”
And more!
Our wonderful community also received our signature Goody Bag, filled with hand-selected products from partners who share our values: quality, care, and thoughtful support for this important life phase.
To all the brands and collaborators who made this possible, thank you!
Your support helped us create a beautiful experience, and we can’t wait to share more content from the event with you soon.
What’s next?
Thanks to the amazing response, we have already planned new dates starting July 26th. At Belovia, we believe that access to good care starts with access to good information delivered with warmth, clarity, and community.
Thank you to everyone who showed up, asked brave questions, and helped us create such a meaningful space.
